The History of Granola Logo's

After hopping on my machine this morning, I was getting ready to write this very post, telling the story of our companies current logo, when this appeared on my Facebook page. One of the earliest sightings of the name Granola on anything. Yeah, it's hard to see.

If you're wondering what you're looking at, this is a chalk bag made from a Goodwill shirt and a free internet sewing pattern, embroidered with a craft machine.

Luckily for everyone, we dismissed ourselves from the t-shirt chalk bag market and stumbled upon a great logo.

That logo was written by Kelsey(older brother) on paper, then handed to a friend's dad, who screen printed and digitized the logo. Although we look back and love this logo, at the time it didn't 'scratch that itch' for us.

We then created the worst logo of all time...

This logo was so unfortunate that a friend of ours, Keith Erps, offered to make us a new logo in exchange for a customer chalk bag, we obliged. He wanted a chalk bag with his home state of Kentucky on it. That led to the logo that is on far more bags than any other-

All I can say is, I'm glad I didn't get a logo tattoo.
